How We Do It

We are committed to real climate action, not greenwashing. Using the revenue we generate from the receipts you send us (more on that below), we support actively threatened natural habitats that act as carbon sinks (mangroves, swamps, forests etc.), preventing commercial interests from degrading or destroying them.

For us to intervene on behalf of threatened habitats, they must be zoned for commercial exploitation (i.e., the laws governing the land must explicitly allow activities such as mining, logging, real estate, agriculture etc.) and have evidence that they will be exploited in the future (for example, forested land that was previously clear cut then sold once the lumber had been removed). Once we step in, we prevent all human activity that has the potential to degrade or destroy the habitat. Your support allows us to take on bigger and bigger projects.

Great, what about my receipts?

When we collect your receipts, we anonymize all data by removing all identifiers (such as name, email, date of birth) and aggregate the remaining purchasing data before selling it to analytics, CPG or marketing firms. You have the ability to permanently delete your account and all associated information in the app at any time. If you have any questions you want addressed, email us!

What can I expect?

As you can see from this website, this is just an early beta. But with your support who knows? Maybe we can offset thousands or millions of pounds of carbon a year and protect threatened environments.
